There is one major hosting company that advertises their shared hosting at $4.99/mo, however if you look at the fine details you will see that it renews at $29.95/mo, for shared hosting!!!
DreamHost has hosted over 1,500,000 websites and they’re still going strong! They’re proudly independent, based in the United States, and known for their top-notch hosting services. Plus, they’re one of the few companies that WordPress recommends.
The DreamPress Plus Plan starts at $24.95/mo and after the intro offer goes to $28.99/mo. Which is a fantastic deal. Especially when you consider that it includes JetPack professional which would cost you $29.95 a month on it’s own. You could even look at it as getting hosting for free!
When you’re just starting out, it might seem like a good idea to keep costs low and opt for those low introductory rates. But if your goal is to break free and create a sustainable income for yourself, consider the long term. What matters more? Having a low price for the initial period or having the tools that will help you build a business that lasts?
